General description of the collection: The Adolf Hitler papers include translations of 800 pages of surviving remains of the 120,000 page STENOGRAPHIC ACCOUNT OF THE STAFF CONFERENCES OF ADOLF HITLER AND THE GERMAN HIGH COMMAND, captured at Berchtesgarden (May 10-12, 1945) and published, in six copies, by the U.S. Army (August 28, 1945). The extant documents, themselves often fragmentary, cover fifty-three meetings (September, 1939 - March 23, 1945).
